Author Brand & Book Cover Design

One Voice. One Identity. One Bold Cover.

A Brand Built for Authority & Ambition

We built a complete author brand for Kwame J. Granderson's book Thinking in the Millions, from logo system to full cover design.

A cinematic gold-and-charcoal palette, bold display type, and a signature illustration style carry the book's core themes: transformation, intellect, and abundance.

Every element, from the wordmark to the back-cover layout, was designed to feel premium, confident, and unmistakably his.

Designed to Signal Authority at a Glance

The cover pairs a bold, condensed wordmark with a cinematic gold illustration, so the title reads with authority even at thumbnail size.

Every choice, from the deep charcoal background to the golden particle motif, ties back to the brand's core palette and imagery style.

The System Applied to Every Format

Typography
A3 and A4 posters for office boards, bus stops, and in-person survey points.
Illustration Style
Every piece translated and adapted into Spanish, English, and Catalan without losing visual hierarchy.
